Preparing for your first fertility consultation
What to bring
Any previous reports — ultrasounds, hormone panels, semen analysis, HSG, past IVF summaries. Even old reports help.
A list of medications and supplements both partners are taking.
Both partners, ideally. A first consultation with just one of you is fine — but two heads leave with more clarity.
What to expect
A calm 30–45 minute conversation. History first, then a review of any existing reports, then a discussion of possible next steps. If needed, a bedside ultrasound the same day.
You will leave with a written plan and a clear idea of the next 1–2 investigations — not a treatment quote.
Questions to ask us
What is the most likely reason we have not conceived yet? What is the least invasive next step? How long should we try that before escalating? What is your team's live-birth rate in cases like ours? Will Dr. Darshan and Dr. Falguni personally oversee our care?
Ask hard questions. Good clinics welcome them.
